Formed in 1990 and led by singer Shannon Hoon, Blind Melon gained widespread fame with their signature song, 'No Rain'. I was not a fan of the band, but it was difficult to not tap your toe to that song the first 73 times you heard it.
This two-sided print has a South Park vibe going on, and it feels like the person cartooned is a poke at a particular demographic, but I won't speculate there. It's beautifully faded and autographed in 1993 by Rogers Stevens and Christopher Thorn. I'm always skeptical of autographed tees, as they tend to be BS or they cheapen the shirt somehow, but this tracks. Hoon wouldn't have signed this. Dude was a bit of an island I hear. A fake would have his autograph. Whatever your opinion of Blind Melon, this is a one-of-a-kind shirt. It's an XL on a Brockum tag.
